About This Product
1940’s French Travel Advertising Poster by P. Pommarmond. Pommarmond did a lot of advertising projects with the French train companys in the first half of the 20th Century. This one of Abbeville located on the river Somme, known for its hunting and fishing, is part of a series promoting the northern railroads.
Unfortunately this has been cut down at some point, losing its town name and tag line above and below. It still has a great visual aesthetic to it and is now backed on cardboard. There is a bit of water damage on the right hand side and a tear on the left, photographed.
